One of the services we offer is Xero training. There are many businesses using Xero who may be unsure of whether they are using it effectively for their business. Or they may feel they are not using the software to its full potential. If you are using Xero in your business and you would really like some help to use it better we have some bespoke training sessions available for you to book in August.
We are a Xero Champion Silver Partner have been using Xero for many years. We have 5 Xero Certified Advisors, 2 of whom are also Xero Migration Certified. We have converted many of our current clients to Xero as well as new clients who were not using any software when they joined us. We use Xero in different ways for different types of clients and although the basics are the same for all businesses, accounting processes need to be adapted so that they work best for each business.
Our bespoke Xero training provides those working with Xero with hands on help to sort out any issues, ask questions and gain more knowledge with our tips. After so many years working with Xero and keeping up to date with its regular updates we know how to use it to get the best result.
Maybe there are some simple things that you have never thought about:
- Do you regularly check that your bank balance in Xero agrees with your actual bank statement?
- Are all the transactions in your bank account reconciled or are there some payments and receipts you have added to invoices that have not been reconciled?
- Do you check that your control accounts (VAT, pension, PAYE, net wages) reconcile?
- Do you regularly run the Aged Receivables and Aged Payables report to check on outstanding invoices?
Have you explored the numerous reports available to you? The Management Report is particularly useful as it produces a group of 6 reports which will give you a good view of your business each month. Perhaps you would just like some time with a Xero expert to understand the finance reports so that you can regularly produce the report that is right for your business.
Preparing custom reports can be helpful in your business if you want to have your Profit & Loss Report set out in a different way to the standard report. Or perhaps you want to create a bespoke report which shows just a few headline totals which group together a number of account codes.
